If we are honest regarding the Church in our nation and in our day, “normal” Christianity is often viewed with mediocrity, little urgency and even apathy. Let’s just admit it, the bar is low when it comes to supernatural expectations for the average Christian life. God is often one compartment of many and there’s little expectation of that even changing. To be a “normal” Christian today is to compare ourselves with each other as opposed to Christ….this simply must change.

Introducing the new “normal”. What if we trashed human worldly standards for our lives and actually started to get on God’s page as to His standards for our lives?! What if we took God at His word and began to believe that the Christian described in the Bible is the Christian that I can be?! What if we redefined “normal” and initiated a new wave of power, joy and godliness, exactly according to God’s plan for us?! Wouldn’t that be awesome? Well that’s precisely what we’re seeking to do in this series….again, introducing the new “normal”…when God’s standard becomes my own.
